The Espai Barça project is fundamental for FC Barcelona to maintain its place as a leader in world sport in terms of facilities and sporting ability. However, the current project is undervalued, it is not the best project for members but above all it needs to be financed with a sustainable and viable plan that does not put at risk the Club or its sporting management. With the plan to be presented to the Assembly, the Espai Barça will finance itself with the income generated by the project. The construction work will not cost the members money nor will it mortgage the Club's assets.

• With additional income from the new project: The financing is based on the new income to be generated by the new project thanks to new boxes and VIP seats, new sponsors and the exploitation of the events that the Espai Barça will generate. 
  
  
• The guarantees from the Espai Barça: The guarantee of the financing is the increase in income generated by the new Espai Barça once it is finished. For that reason, the Espai Barça will not cost the members any money at all nor will it risk the Club's assets or its sporting management. As payment is based on additional income, it will not affect the day to day running of the Club. 
  
  
• Market interest and a 35 year return: The Club will negotiate for financing a market interest rate via international operators with expertise in the financing of sports stadiums and facilities. Financing will take place over 35 years, 5 construction and 30 of management. 
  
  
• Operation of up to 1,500 million euros: In the Assembly members and representatives will be asked for authorization for the necessary steps to subscribe to an operation of financing of up to 1,500 million euros.
